Excited to officially share this opportunity for entry into this special camp for aspiring Athletics Ontario middle distance athletes.

Expresssion of interest Registration is now open for the 2026 Future Stars Middle Distance Athletics Camp, directed by Canadian Olympic Silver Medalist and 2023 World Champion Marco Arop.

This event is intended for provincially competitive athletes ages 12–18 (U20) with a focus on the 800m and 1500m track running events.

ONLY 30 athlete spots are available!

Athletes will receive insight, coaching, racing strategy, and mentorship from one of Canada’s most accomplished middle distance athletes. Marco Arop is not only an exceptional performer at the international level, but also an outstanding communicator and mentor for developing athletes.

The camp will take place September 19–20, 2026 at the Toronto Track and Field Centre near York University and it is a 2 full day event, with on track segments and lectures.

Pre-Registration is now open while final participant thresholds are confirmed - get on the list. Refund policies and event details are outlined in the information on trackie reg. We reserve the right to cancel if thresholds are not met.

Southlake Hospital serves our community when it matters most. Now it’s our turn to give back.

Athletic Victory Speed is stepping up to support the Run for Southlake Fundraiser, and we’re inviting you to be part of it.

While our club is built around sprint and middle-distance performance, we believe in something bigger than sport. We believe in community, in health, and in supporting the people and places that take care of us. Whether it’s a 5K fun run or a championship race, the purpose is the same—move forward and lift others with you.

Congratulations to our athletes. ATHLETIC VICTORIES! Great 1st day at the Ontario Track and Field Canadian Championship Versi F47 made a great effort at her Nationals and 200m debut. Some scratches on her knee from her dive finish, unfortunately one of the judges claimed a line fault so it was a DQ. Baldyga M48 was previously injured and we were on the fence about racing, in a last minute decision he raced and got a Bronze Ontario Hardware!!! PB! Club record! Club championship record! lots of hardware, I am happy to report on Graenert M57 Gold all around: 1st in Ontario and 1st Nationally in Canada in the 200m and 800m races (that 800 hurt, went out to fast and paid the price) but still beat everyone to the line.

Not a casual running group. This is intentional, technical, performance-focused training, but we can get you started if you have some athleticism, lets chat!
Training Calendar
Indoor Season (Now–April): Continue current training, weather-permitting outdoor sessions, transition to hill training in April
Outdoor Season (April–August/September): Local track + grass field
Fall/Off-Season (August/September on-wards) - Trail intervals, general fitness, weight room, circuit training, optional XC/road racing
