🏆 THE WORLD CUP HAS ARRIVED AT ASC! 🏆

There is no better place in Aurora to experience the beautiful game than right here where history lives. Aurora Soccer Club is opening the clubhouse doors for the ultimate summer of soccer!
We are hosting World Cup matches throughout June and July on the big screen. 📺⚽️

🗓️ OPENING MATCHES:
This Thursday and Friday, we will open early at 2:30 PM so you can grab a seat and a cold drink before kickoff .

🇲🇽 Mexico vs. 🇿🇦 South Africa — Thursday at 3:00 PM
🇨🇦 Canada vs. 🇧🇦 Bosnia & Herzegovina — Friday at 3:00 PM

Rec league players should expect all night games on the big screen as well after their matches! Head straight to the clubhouse to keep the energy going with your teammates.

⚽ Lace up your boots & bring the family! 🇮🇹

On Saturday, June 13th, ASC is hosting a special Viva Italia Soccer Celebration in partnership with Rosa Calabrese and the Royal Rose Gallery

We’re calling on all players aged 18+ to step onto the pitch for a friendly ceremonial match at 4:00 PM featuring teams of Italian ancestry. You don’t have to be a current member to play, so invite your friends and former teammates!

Bring the whole crew down starting at 3:00 PM for:
🍦 100 FREE Mr. Softee ice cream cones
🍕 Zest Up Your Life Pizza Food Truck
🧒 Inflatables & face painting for the kids
📺 World Cup matches on the big screen!

⏱️ Players must arrive by 3:15 PM for warm-ups. Match starts at 4:00 PM.

⚽ THANK YOU TO AN ASC LEGEND: BRIAN CASEY ⚽

After more than 15 years of dedicated leadership, the Aurora Soccer Club announces that past President and current Head Referee, Brian Casey, is stepping down from the Board of Directors.

While Brian is stepping away from his administrative roles, we are thrilled that he will remain a fixture of our community, continuing to run the lines and officiate matches on the pitch. Inducted as a Lifetime Member in 2024, Brian truly embodies the heart and soul of ASC.

ASC President Martin Ambrose shared a heartfelt tribute to Brian's lasting impact in a communication to members yesterday:

"Brian has been the voice of reason and the steady hand on the steering wheel of the ASC. We recognize and thank you for your contributions and countless efforts throughout the years helping the club maintain its traditions of hospitality, welcome, charity and sense of community spirit."

From his early days as a standout player to his decades of service ensuring our matches run smoothly, Brian has earned the title of a true "Club man." When you see him at the pitch next, please join us in shaking his hand and saying thank you to a local soccer legend.

⚽️ Keeping Active This Summer with Walking Soccer!

Looking to stay involved in soccer as you look to slow it down a bit? Back for its second exciting year, our Walking Soccer program is the perfect option. It’s great fitness, low impact on joints, and a fun social activity!

The Aurora Soccer Club is excited to host our outdoor Walking Soccer program for mixed older adult participants this summer. Whether you're transitioning from our competitive leagues or just looking for a great weekly workout, this is for you!

🗓️ The Details:

-When: Wednesdays from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (June 10th to Sept. 16th)

-Format: Co-ed, small-sided pickup games on the ASC side field. Teams are balanced and mixed up each week!

-Gear: Wear comfortable athletic clothing and running shoes or soccer cleats. (Training pinnies provided!)

-Cost: Only $75 + HST for the full summer season.

🤸‍♂️We are proud to officially welcome Kids Supergym Aurora as a sponsor of the Aurora Soccer Club!

⚽️Since 1954, ASC has been the home for adult sport in York Region, but we know that great athletes start young. Kids Super Gym is Aurora’s premier outlet for young gymnasts, providing a fun and high-energy environment where kids can develop the strength, balance, and confidence that serves them for a lifetime (and maybe even on the soccer pitch!).

While our members are busy enjoying our many recreational soccer offerings, the team at KSG is busy inspiring the next generation of local talent.

📣 Calling all members! Let’s get our home grounds ready for the 2026 season. It’s a great day to give back, connect with teammates, and get outside.

📅 When: Saturday, May 9
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM
📍 Location: ASC Clubhouse

The Plan: Setting up nets 🥅, grounds clean-up 🗑️, and refreshing the locker rooms. Many hands make light work!

The Reward: Hard work deserves a treat! We’ll have food and drinks 🌭🍻 available for all our volunteers once the job is done. Come for the chores, stay for the social!
