ACC recap

Friday practices were more of a tire scrub than anything to make sure I had some nice heat cycled tires for the weekend but the car felt pretty good, started heat one pole. I jumped the start but slowed down and let outside pole catch up and pass and continued on and was keeping up and made some attempts to pass but couldn’t do it clean then ended up getting passed but finished 3rd

Saturday the car felt great in practice once again then changed tires for Jade Franklin to practice for mini stock non winners (he didn’t fit to well so he decided not to race the non winners) swapped tires back for bonestock heats and I started last and made some passes on the outside but ran out of laps to continue the passes and finished 7th
Mini stock non winners got postponed due to time limit

Sunday started 10th and was working my way though the field but after a couple yellows and always getting stuck to the outside I fell back to 14th and couldn’t do anything to get back up near the front. Finished in 15th, but I know what I got to change for next year.
Mini stock non winners race, first off I have to thank everyone that came to my pit after the bonestock race to help change tires and make quick adjustments while victory lane was happening because the mini race was right after. Started 9th and was keeping up good. There was a spin infront of me and I was able to stop in time to not hit anyone but after that I had a vibration, restarted the race and made some passes and was pretty decent but I brought a knife to a gun fight and finished 9th maybe a yellow or something and I feel I could have made a pass or two more but I was still happy

Race weekend recap

Friday I was super excited to try Humberstone Speedway before they close and it sucked it rained out. I wasn’t going to the rain date just incase something happened and I couldn’t fix the car in time for frostfest

Sunday was pretty good ran the best lap times that I’ve done this year and it blows my mind a 19.442 qualified me 23rd. (Man everyone got so quick) so that meant I started outside pole for B main 1, ran pretty good but I forgot to add gas and it was stuttering coming out of the corners near the end but was able to finish 3rd. A Main I started 25th? And just tried to push but also play cautious as there was a lot happening infront of me. Kept it clean and finished 19th. Cars in one piece and just got to change tires and I’m ready for ACC in Peterbough

This is gonna be a good weekend, Friday night I’m going to go to Humberstone Speedway and try it out before it closes, then Sunday go to Flamboro Speedway-Authorized Page for Frostoberfest, goal for both races are make the A main and have fun. Come out and enjoy some racing

Race weekend recap

Saturday was a good day struggled in practice and the heat races with grip so I threw the kitchen sink at it for the feature and it worked pretty good and finished 7th.

Sunday was a lot better. Getting a 6th and a 5th after getting driven thru for no reason. Started the feature in 6th and ran the best I’ve ever felt this season, had some great battles and made some questionable moves that somehow worked. Ended up 8th and was super happy.

A big congrats to Patrick Farrow for his championship (and playing along with the whole “I won the championship” joke) and also CGC Racing 81 & 82 for getting my old car 3rd in points and 5th in the Honda/bradys car.

Rest of the season I’ll be running flamboro as a mini (sorry Spencer Riddell 😂) until frostfest so I have some decent tires for the big event and to end it off at ACC at Peterborough speedway
