We cannot begin to express how grateful we are for the incredible support, patience, and kind words we have received as we work through the aftermath of the wildfires.
Your understanding during this difficult time has meant more to us than we can say. From all of us at Thunderhook, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of our 2026 season. This will allow us to focus our efforts on cleaning up and rebuilding Basecamp, while making sure we are fully prepared to welcome our guests back for the 2027 season.

The last 72 hours has been a whirlwind of events and emotions.

First and foremost, our staff and our guests are safe. We are evacuating the last of the guests this morning, they are not in immediate danger.

Our planes seem to survive however there is nothing left of basecamp. It is going to be a process but we’ll take it day by day.

Going forward we will be reaching out to guests as needed. If you have any questions or concerns about your reservation please email us at [email protected] .
