for the MFSD Dance Team Placement Auditions for the 2026-27 season!😃
Dancers age 4-18, beginner to advanced levels are welcome!
*All students auditioning will be offered a spot on a team we determine they are best suited for!

➡️May 24
9am - 10:00am (ages 4-8)
10:15 - 11:15am (ages 9-12)
11:30 - 12:30pm (ages 13+)

*All dancers attending the audition MUST be registered online!

***TO REGISTER - Please log on to Dancepro, and go to “register for classes” and select the applicable “Competitive Team Audition” for your dancers age.

Competitions held in the Spring, within NS. Regular training begins in the fall.

➡️Crew - fewer hours of training per week. Two competitions per dance year. Opportunity to do an extra group routine!
➡️Company - higher level of commitment. Four competitions per dance year. Opportunity to do solos and extra group routines! With the option to compete in a 5th competition in the fall.
➡️Group Production - Introduction to the competitive program. Compete in a Production/Large group routine, alongside our Competitive dancers! Three competitions per dance year.

➡️Cost: $25 (taxes included)

Dancers must wear all black clothing (shorts or leggings, leotard or fitted athletic top, bare feet, ballet slippers or jazz shoes)
Wear hair off the face, in a high ponytail, bun or hair pinned back if shorter.
