Old City Days 2026.

Three circles. Three groups. Dozens of stories.

At the beginning of the week, these were blank pieces of paper. By the end, they became maps of memories, adventures, laughter, discoveries, challenges, friendships, and moments that words couldn’t quite capture.

Each section tells a different story:
🌿 A hike conquered
🦢 A swan spotted on a lakeside walk
🥐 A favorite French pastry
🎨 A creative breakthrough
❤️ A friendship formed
✨ A moment of joy

No two pieces are the same, yet together they create something beautiful—just like every retreat group.

Thank you to everyone who shared their energy, creativity, and hearts with us this week in France. You have left your mark not only on these circles but on each other.

What started as a retreat became a collection of memories we’ll carry home long after the suitcases are unpacked.

Our final day at the retreat was anything but ordinary. 💛

We started by the lakeshore, flowing with colorful scarves dancing in the breeze and ribbons twirling like we were auditioning for a very graceful circus. 🎀🌈

Then came a slow walk around the lake, keeping company with swans who seemed convinced they owned the place (they probably do). 🦢

Of course, we couldn’t leave without one last climb to the top. A few huffs, a few puffs, and suddenly the whole world opened up beneath us. The views were worth every step. ⛰️✨

We finished the day the best way possible: gathered around the table for our final dinner, sharing stories, laughter, memories, and promises to meet again.

A week of movement, adventure, friendship, and just enough uphill walking to earn dessert. ❤️

A day in Dijon, where history, food, and mindfulness came together beautifully.

We wandered through the city’s elegant streets, admired centuries-old architecture, and followed the stories hidden in every corner. For lunch, we embraced Burgundy’s culinary traditions with rich Beef Bourguignon and the famous escargots—a true taste of the region.

As the afternoon heat settled over the city, we escaped into the peaceful Botanical Garden. There, beneath the shade of ancient trees, we slowed down for a walking meditation, feeling each step connect us to the present moment. We finished with a guided sitting meditation, listening to birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves.

Travel isn’t only about seeing new places. Sometimes it’s about experiencing them fully—with all your senses, one mindful breath and one mindful step at a time.

Who knew enlightenment came with so many hills? 😅🌿

Today’s yoga practice looked a little different: forest trails, sunshine, plenty of uphill climbs, and a few moments of “Are we there yet?” followed by “Wow, look at that view!”

Yes, it was hot.
Yes, there were hills.
Yes, some of us negotiated with our legs.

But somewhere between the laughter, the sweat, the birdsong, and the shady forest paths, something magical happened. The mind got quieter, the shoulders relaxed, and the outside world seemed very far away.

This is forest bathing, French countryside style: a little challenge, a lot of beauty, and a well-earned glass of wine waiting at the end. 🍷

Not all yoga happens on a mat.

Every time I visit Colmar, it feels a little unreal — like walking through a watercolor painting that somehow came to life.
The canals, the half-timbered houses, the flowers spilling from every balcony… no matter how many times I come here, this town still manages to amaze me. 🇫🇷✨

Some places you visit once.
Some places stay with you forever.
