It represents not only a students ability to teach but the time, dedication, and commitment they've put in to giving back to the dojo and to the students following in thier footsteps. The ONLY person who can make this call is Sensei Mers as it signifies her trust in you to lead classes independently. Its not a milestone that comes easy, nor is it a milestone to be taken lightly.
