Discipline will take you places motivation never could.

How many of you struggle with saying no? ….
You're at a family gathering. The table is packed with food. Someone offers you another plate, another drink, another dessert, and all of a sudden you feel guilty. Trust me, I’ve been there. It gets you no where.

But, here’s the thing…

Every time you say no to something that doesn’t align with your goals, you’re saying yes to something bigger.

Yes to feeling stronger
Yes to building confidence
Yes to a stronger will-power
Yes to more energy
Yes to the best version of yourself you’ve been working so hard to become.

You DO NOT have to skip every treat and never enjoy yourself. Balance is important, but if you find yourself saying “just this once” more than once, then those choses start to add up real quick.

Once you start your fitness journey and get strict you will soon to realize that your old food habits might not taste as good as they used to.
At least for myself and some of my clients, you become very picky on what you’re eating. If it’s not going to be the best thing I’m putting in my mouth I will not eat it. If I take a bite and don’t like it, I will stop eating it. period. I will not finish it if I'm not happy with whatever it is I'm eating.

Your fam and friends might not understand your choices. At the end of the day no one is going to achieve your goals besides you!

Alana, there are so many words I could use to describe you, but the one that stands out the most is resilient….

You refused to let breast cancer define your story.

Instead, you chose yourself. You chose to take care of your body, prioritize your health, show up for your workouts, nourish yourself, and become the strongest version of you.

The other week, we had a conversation that left us both in tears. Alana shared something her therapist, who works with cancer patients, had told her:

“You’ve already done the hardest thing… getting back into a routine that feels like you again.”

And that couldn’t be more true..

After everything you’ve been through, finding yourself again takes courage. It takes strength. It takes resilience. The physical progress is incredible, but what inspires me most is the mindset you’ve built along the way.

This is exactly why I love what I do.

This isn’t about chasing trends. It isn’t about quick fixes or simply getting a workout in and checking a box. It’s about creating a lifestyle that carries you through every season of life and gives you the strength to face whatever comes your way.

Watching you grow has been one of the greatest privileges. I couldn’t be more grateful to have you as a client, and I hope you know just how inspiring your journey is to everyone around you.

You are proof that strength isn’t just built in the gym. It’s built in the moments when you decide to keep showing up, even after life has tested you in unimaginable ways.
