Discipline will take you places motivation never could.
How many of you struggle with saying no? ….
You're at a family gathering. The table is packed with food. Someone offers you another plate, another drink, another dessert, and all of a sudden you feel guilty. Trust me, I’ve been there. It gets you no where.
But, here’s the thing…
Every time you say no to something that doesn’t align with your goals, you’re saying yes to something bigger.
Yes to feeling stronger
Yes to building confidence
Yes to a stronger will-power
Yes to more energy
Yes to the best version of yourself you’ve been working so hard to become.
You DO NOT have to skip every treat and never enjoy yourself. Balance is important, but if you find yourself saying “just this once” more than once, then those choses start to add up real quick.
Once you start your fitness journey and get strict you will soon to realize that your old food habits might not taste as good as they used to.
At least for myself and some of my clients, you become very picky on what you’re eating. If it’s not going to be the best thing I’m putting in my mouth I will not eat it. If I take a bite and don’t like it, I will stop eating it. period. I will not finish it if I'm not happy with whatever it is I'm eating.
Your fam and friends might not understand your choices. At the end of the day no one is going to achieve your goals besides you!
