The Rothesay is a historic wooden sidewheel steamer wreck located off Prescott, Ontario. Built in 1868, it served as a passenger vessel on the St. Lawrence River before sinking after a collision with the tug Myra on September 12, 1889. Although all passengers survived, two crew members from the Myra were lost. Parts of the wreck were later damaged during military explosives training in 1901, but many features remain intact today. Come join Proper Diving on one of our upcoming adventures.
