Weather Policy
The safety of all swimmers is my top priority. Weather conditions will be monitored closely before each lesson.

Rain
~ Swimming lessons can often continue safely in light rain.
If rain is expected or begins before your lesson, I will contact you to discuss the weather and ask how you would like to proceed.
~ If we mutually decide not to continue with the lesson due to the weather, I will cancel the lesson and ask that you reschedule the lesson as soon as possible.

Thunderstorms & Lightning
~ For the safety of everyone, all lessons will be cancelled immediately if there is thunder or lightning in the area.
~ There is no cancellation fee for weather-related cancellations.
It is expected that weather-cancelled lessons will be rescheduled to another available date and time.

Hi Everyone, I’m looking forward to another summer of swimming lessons. With there being some new people in the group I wanted to post an update for this summer.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Gabby. Last year I completed my undergrad in Physical and Health Education at Nipising University and am currently in my first year of the Bachlor of Education. I have been a lifeguard and swim instructor for 8 years now and have been teaching swimming lessons in your backyard pools for the last four summers.
Here are the answers to some common questions.

How much do lessons cost?
I charge $50 for a half hour, $80 per hour and $120 for an hour and a half. If you had two kids you could book an hour and they would each get a 30 min private lesson. This year discounted rates will be strictly per family.

What is my availability?
Like last summer, I plan to teach every weekday and some weekends. You can view available time slots using the booking link in the featured section at the top of the page.

What qualifications do I have?
Swim instructor
National Lifeguard
Lifesaving instructor
Standard first aid with CPR C
Emergency first aid instructor
Aquatic supervisor
National Lifeguard Instructor

Will your children receive badges?
Yes. Children that meet the skills required to move into the next level will receive a lifesaving society badge and certificate for the level they have completed.
