Instructed by Lorraine Symington and Kelsey Symington Ruane the Wallace-Symington Highland Dancers have performed on numerous stages in Ontario. We have performed choreographed shows from large venues such as the Wintergarden Theatre to intimate wedding receptions. Our dancers are highly skilled and experienced performers drawn from our competitive ranks and include Provincial, National and World

Champions. Our choreography groups include all levels of dancers, from the very young to adults, and over the years have finished first at the Canadian Interprovincial Championships held in locations such as Winnipeg, Calgary, Cape Breton, Regina, London, Ottawa, Montreal and St. We also feature the now famous “Dads of the Dance” who will inspire you to realize that it is never too late to start!

All dancers from Primary to Premier - if you haven’t registered for Northumberland and the Lakeshore Open Championship yet you still have time! We have extended registration to next Friday June 12 at 10pm.

Premier dancers! It’s not too late to get your entry in for the inaugural Lakeshore Open Championships at Northumberland Scottish Festival. We are still looking for dancers in all age classes to round out our groups but especially in 14&U16 and 18&U22 which do not have enough dancers for a Championship.

We are also calling all Pre-premier dancers to come out and support this fantastic local Games! Primary, Novice and Intermediate are particularly light.

Premier dancers - we need you! We don't have Championships in a couple of our age classes at the new Lakeshore Championship at Northumberland Scottish Festival & Highland Games.

Port Hope is only 3 hours from Ottawa, Cornwall, and London. It's about 3.5 hours from Owen Sound and just under 3 hours from Niagara Falls. The Championship is scheduled for the afternoon so you don't even need a hotel room.

Please come out and support this great local Games and inaugural Championship. Registration is online at www.hdaontario.com (click on Events under the Events tab). You do not need to be an HDAO Member to compete.

Registration closes this Friday June 5 at 10pm.
