Team update:

In preparation for the summer DRSA league.
The team coach, management and parents have been working very hard with the boys in terms of their training and fund raising.

Folks, its been a while since I updated topics here.
We will commence our updates soon.

The Team underwent a overhaul with many players moving across clubs after the last season.

We have two new and very experienced coaches Vernon and Winston currently rebuilding our team and it looks very promising and also our new team manager Lyn has been very hands on in leading the organizational side of things. Our Thanks to these dedicated individuals.

The kids are stepping up to the challenges that Vernon always puts forth to them not only in terms of skills but also tactics and fitness.

So far we have had an exhibition match against Wexford which we managed a goalless tie for the Whites and a 4-2 win for the Reds.

Our second encounter was the Downsview tournament on 30th Dec, 2014. The boys did very well and exceeded the coaches expectations. The boys both red and white were able to get a win, draw and a loss each out of the three games they played that day.

The next phase for 2015 will be some heads down training and planning to prepare for the 2015 league season.

Our boys record a first win against Oshawa Kicks Tornados White (2-0) despite a loss to on the road to Cavan FC (2-5) on May 29th.

Game Recap Vs Pickering Power Gold

Congratulations to our boys, and Coaches for another shut out victory.

The boys played another solid game, with very few mistakes, and great effort.
We won the majority of the battle for possession, and passed the ball effortlessly.

Lance did not face any shots in the first half, and only 1 shot in the second half. Lance kept himself in the play by directing the defence, and making a few passes. He also made a terrific save to keep the ball out of our net on the Pickering’s only shot.

Our defence were fantastic controlling the play, making great passes to send the ball to our midfielders, and forwards. Nathan, Owen and Sebastian all had a part in our victory, and Lance’s shut out.

Gavin worked hard in the midfield to win the ball on many occasions. Isaiah N nearly scored on a beautiful shot the just sailed over the crossbar. Luke played the ball well, setting up some scoring chances.

Our forwards made their presence felt the whole game. Rodrigo opened the scoring with his goal in the opening minutes of the game. Deandre added to the scoring with a sensational goal from just outside the box. Noah worked hard and almost scored on a few chances. Anthony scored a pair of goals, and played a solid game.

Thanks as always to our Coaches for preparing our boys for competition.
Coach Kevin, Coach Yaw, and Coach Khalil guided our boys in the right direction throughout the whole game.
