Airdrie’s competing to be named Canada’s Most Active Community in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge this June.

🏆 You can help Airdrie earn the title and $100,000 to fund local sport and physical activity programs/initiatives by joining participating organizations’ programs and events to help them boost logged program and event participation numbers. These participation numbers will be used by ParticipACTION when selecting finalist communities.

Want to help us climb? Here's how you can get involved through June:
☑️ Register an active group and log your activity with ParticipACTION.
☑️ Join local ParticipACTION Community Challenge events.
☑️ Visit Genesis Place for lessons, public swimming, the fitness centre, group fitness or drop-in sports and we'll count your activity!

Make your activity count towards naming Airdrie as Canada’s Most Active Community. 🏆

✅ Join participating organizations in the community for their ParticipACTION Community Challenge events to help them boost logged program and event participation numbers. Grand prize funds earned in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge will be used to support local and physical activity initiatives through grant funding for participating organizations.

The ParticipACTION Community Challenge is a national initiative that encourages Canadians to get active throughout June, competing for the title of Canada’s Most Active Community and funding to support local sport and physical activity programs.

Grand prize funds earned in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge will be used to support local sport and physical activity initiatives through grant funding for participating organizations.

Children and youth ages six to 17 can play and ride all summer long with the Genesis Place and Airdrie Transit All Access Summer Passes!

Passes are valid from July 1 - Aug. 31.
🏊‍♀️Includes access to all facility amenities (with some age restrictions).
🚏Includes summer local transit pass to get you to and from Genesis Place, the skate park, a friend's house and more!

Celebrate National Youth Week May 1 – 7, 2025!

Tonight is Teen Night at Genesis Place where youth ages 12 - 17 get free access for a night of sports, games, fun and a youth fair featuring local community groups. Admission is free but all participants must check in and receive a wristband.

🟣 Pass includes four months of access to Airdrie Transit local service and Genesis Place activities like public swimming, drop-in sports, the fitness centre, group fitness classes and more.
