🎾🏆 Make-Up Day 5 — Our Final Summer Camp Day! 🏆🎾

What a great way to wrap up our summer tennis camps! Today, Gurnav returned for his Day 5 make-up session and was joined by Bliss for one last fun afternoon on the courts. ☀️🎾

Gurnav and Bliss put their skills to work playing two sets together, while also spending time fine-tuning their forehand and backhand groundstrokes. It was great to see the rallies, friendly competition, and all the progress they’ve made! 💪🎾

A huge congratulations to Gurnav on completing another full week of tennis camp! 🏆👏 Your enthusiasm, hard work, and love for the game have been wonderful to see.

And with that, our 2026 Summer Tennis Camps come to a close! 🎉 A big thank-you to all of the young players and families who joined us this summer. We’ve had an amazing time helping our players learn new skills, build confidence, make new friends, and—most importantly—have fun playing tennis!

The summer camps may be finished, but the tennis certainly isn’t! 😉🎾

🎾 Day 4 of Summer Camp! 🎾

Yesterday was all about putting everything together for Gurnav! He spent plenty of time playing out points and putting his tennis scoring knowledge into practice. We’re happy to say he’s developed a great understanding of how scoring works! 🙌🎾

We also introduced tiebreaks, giving Gurnav another opportunity to combine his strokes, strategy, and scoring in a match-style setting. 💪

Another new skill wasn’t a stroke at all—we showed Gurnav how to use a tennis backboard to practise on his own. 🎾🧱 It’s a great way for him to keep working on consistency, movement, and his strokes even when he doesn’t have someone available to rally with.

And yes… no pictures this time! 📸😄 We were too busy playing tennis again!

Unfortunately, Gurnav isn’t feeling well today, so Day 5 will be postponed and made up next week. We’re wishing him a speedy recovery and looking forward to having him back on the court! ❤️‍🩹🎾

Day 3 — Bliss Joins Gurnav! 🎾

We had some friendly competition on the courts today as Bliss joined Gurnav for Day 3! 😄🎾

The two put their skills to the test with three mini sets. Bliss took the first set 3–1, Gurnav battled back to take the second 3–0, and that set up an exciting third-set tiebreaker! 🏆

It came right down to the wire, with Bliss taking the tiebreaker 7–5! 👏 What a great battle from both players!

Today’s tactical focus was “Outlast Your Opponent”—learning the value of consistency, keeping the ball in play, and making your opponent hit one more ball. 🎯🎾 It was great to see them starting to put those tactics into action during actual points.

Lots of rallies, lots of competition, and most importantly, lots of fun! 🙌

Great job, Bliss and Gurnav! Bring on Day 4!

🎾 Day 2 of Summer Camp! 🎾

Gurnav was back on the court today and, of course, we had to warm up with one of his favourites—Throw Tennis! 😄🎾

From there, we continued working on his one-handed backhand, building on the progress he’s already made and getting him more comfortable and confident with the stroke. 💪

We also took another big step today by working on his overhand serve! 🎯 Gurnav practised the mechanics of the serve and began putting everything together to get the ball over the net and into play.

And it wasn’t all about hitting the ball! We also introduced Gurnav to proper tennis scoring—learning how to keep track of points and better understand how a real tennis match is played. 🎾📊

Lots of learning, lots of movement, and most importantly—lots of fun!

Great work today, Gurnav! Bring on Day 3!🙌🎾

🎾 Day 1 — Gurnav is Back! 🎾

What a great way to kick off another week of summer camp! Gurnav has returned, and he came ready for more tennis and more fun! 😄🎾

We warmed things up with one of his all-time favourites—Throw Tennis! After that, we spent some time working on his backhand. After watching his two-handed backhand, we decided to try something new and introduced him to the one-handed backhand.

And… success! 🙌🎾

There’s still plenty of practice ahead, but Gurnav took to the one-hander quickly—and, more importantly, he loves it! It’s always fun seeing a young player discover a stroke that feels natural and gets them excited to keep learning.

Great work today, Gurnav! 💪 We’re looking forward to seeing what Day 2 brings!

🎾🏆 Friday Make-Up Day — What a Finish to the Week! 🏆🎾

What a fantastic Friday on the courts! Today, Gurnav and Marcus met for the first time and played together during their make-up session—and it didn’t take long for the friendly competition to come out! 😄🎾

The boys had an amazing time playing Self-Rally Points, Throw Tennis, and working on their volleys. There were plenty of laughs, some great competition, and lots of energy on the court. 💪🎾

Best of all was hearing their feedback afterward—they both had an amazing time! That’s exactly what we want to hear: learning new skills, building confidence, meeting other young players, and having fun along the way.

We also had a little surprise waiting for them… three mini trophies! 🏆🏆🏆 One to recognize each week of camp they have attended. Gurnav received his first, while Marcus received two for his two weeks on the courts with us. 👏🎉

Congratulations, Gurnav and Marcus, on everything you’ve accomplished so far! It’s been fantastic watching your skills and confidence grow—and something tells us we haven’t seen the last of either of you on the courts this summer! 😉🎾
