Sunday, May 11th: 3:15-4:30 PM (Blue Arena)
Thursday, May 29th: 6:45-8 PM (Gold Arena)

Huge 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 to these two Buddies on successfully making the Airdrie Minor Hockey U13 AA Team!!🎉

We are beyond proud of these two young men for the hard work they put in throughout the off season! Noah and Joe, you have both been a pleasure to coach and we can’t wait to come cheer you boys on! Good luck in game 1 today!!

Attention BASICS Development buddies! Our hearts are heavy with all the recent tragedies in the hockey family lately. This one hitting particularly close to home! 💔 We don’t know the Eddyvean family but as fellow Airdrie Stars Athletic Association parents our hearts break for them. We will be accepting donations at each of our remaining sessions up to and at our Summer Skills Free Fun Skate & Windup on Monday, August 30th to collectively donate to this grieving family on behalf of all of our BASICS Buddies. On the night of Thursday, August 19, 2021,the Eddyvean Family experienced the most horrific news any parent could receive. Their boys, were involved in a Motor Vehicle Collision west of Acme, Alberta, at the intersection of highway 575 and Range Road 264 just before 6:00 PM, after the side by side vehicle they were travelling in was involved with a collision with an SUV. One child has succumbed to the injuries received, and another flown to hospital by STARS.

There is a fundraiser so that they do not have to worry about any financial responsibilities or burdens as they focus on their on their son's healing and recovery, as well as the opportunity to grieve without any constraints. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

There will also be a silent auction held in the upcoming weeks, as well as the Carbon bottle depot will be accepting can and bottle donations that will go directly to the family. Bottle donations can be dropped off at Acme & District Golf Club in Acme, or the Flying Monkey Cafe at Beiseker Airport.
