Cho Mei Juku Aikido of Fraser Valley Welcome to Cho Mei Juku Aikido of Fraser Valley! The Fraser Valleys premier school for the instruction of the traditional Japanese art of Aikido.

Founded by Sensei David Goldberg, we offer the opportunity to study and train in the practical, philosophical and traditional practice of Aikido. "Aikido" Is composed of three Japanese words:

Ai - Harmony, unity; balance; to be in accord or to join with
Ki - Spirit; life-force; universal creative energy. Do - The way or path. Aikido is the way of the spirit of harmony. Martial arts are studied f

or self defense and self improvement. Aikido is different from other martial arts in that practitioners seek to defend themselves without causing harm or injury to their attackers.
