It’s National Coaches’ Week and we want to celebrate the people who make Prairie Reign what it is.

Prairie Reign coaches are amazing coaches — but they are also so much more. Some are moms. University students. High school students. Professionals working in finance, construction and the not-for-profit sector.

Some are students excelling in fields such as science and criminal justice. Published authors. Advocates. Volunteers. One has been recognized nationally for her volunteer service. And one has a future goal that will quite literally take her to the skies.

They bring different experiences, talents, interests and ambitions through our doors every week — and then share a little bit of themselves with the athletes they coach.

They teach handstands, cartwheels and giants, but they also teach persistence, courage, responsibility, confidence and how to keep trying when something is hard. Whether they are following athletes from event to event in our own gym, across the province or across the country, we are so very grateful for everything they do.

To Prairie Reign coaches: Thank you for the hours you spend in the gym, for the preparation no one sees, for the skills you teach and for the encouragement you give. You inspire, support and motivate the athletes every day, helping them grow both as gymnasts and as people.

We could never say thank you enough.

Happy National Coaches’ Week!

Big goals must start somewhere!

These athletes are kicking off the season by putting their goals on paper and thinking about what they hope to achieve in the gym this year.
Whether it’s learning new skills, building confidence or reaching personal milestones, every athlete’s journey looks a little different.

We can't wait to see where this season takes them!

The memories made along the way!

Edmonton was filled with incredible gymnastics but some of the best moments happened outside the gym—exploring, laughing, travelling and simply spending time together team building.

Experiences like these turn teammates into friends and trips into memories that last long after everyone gets home.
