Run Belize; Placencia End of the World Marathon and Half Marathon End of The World Marathon and Half Marathon - Started December 6, 2012. The race takes place annually on the second Sunday in December in Placencia, Belize.

Register at www.runbelize.org. Book at a sponsor hotel! The annual End of the World Marathon in Placencia, Belize brings together international and Belizean runners competing for awards and cash prizes.

2025 is the 14th year for the Placencia Marathon, and already this small beachfront community is looking forward to the next race. It's a great mix of first-time local competitors and internationa

l race veterans. And don't worry -- the people here are as warm as the weather so there are plenty of people to cheer you on! Hotels and tour operators around Belize are gearing up for a big weekend this coming December but there's still lots of room availability.
