🏀 WE ARE BACK! 🏀
This past weekend, your Shuga City Flames Boys travelled to Mérida, Mexico, to compete in the Copa Formativa 2026 tournament.
While we didn’t bring home the championship, our boys gave it everything they had and showed tremendous improvement throughout the tournament. Competing in a category with 20+ teams, they battled their way to an impressive 5th-place finish! 👏🏽🔥
They may have ultimately fallen short of the title, but they gained something far more valuable. Through basketball, our boys are learning discipline, teamwork, perseverance, accountability, confidence, sportsmanship and resilience—all while building lifelong friendships and memories that extend far beyond the basketball court. ❤️🏀
