Ka'Kabish Archaeological Research Project KARP is an archaeological project based at Ka’kabish, an ancient Maya site in North-Central Belize

Ka'Kabish Archaeological Research Project has been investigating the ancient Maya site of Ka'Kabish since 2005, and running as a Field School since 2013. The project is open to university students for credit from other institutions, and in the past we have had students join us from throughout Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Our staff and students are contributing towards building knowledge about this lesser-known ancient Maya site, and we invite you to help us put Ka'Kabish on the archaeological map of Belize!
