I have had one of the hardest years of my life, the year 2023 has challenged me on all sorts of fronts, socially, health-wise, professionally and emotionally, it depleted almost everything, at some point, there was only the thought of giving up. Like Job, it seemed like everything was just one big heart- break. Like a voyager in onliest, I sang the hymn
, "tsela e thata jang e ke e tsamayang.' And indeed, it was.
I am grateful to the Lord for showing up. I am here today because of the mercies of the Lord. Father, you showed up, once again, on time even, and sufficiently, you showed up. Even when I did not deserve it, you showed up anyway, because, at some point during my pain, I sinned by questioning your existence, I questioned bokgakala jwa gago, but you showed up anyway. Even when praying was a challenge, because my faith was shaken, Father, you showed up anyway. For your love to me is not based on what I do or don't do, !.you love me anyway.
