Introducing the youthful and exciting BDF Cats Netball Under 21 known as BDF Kittens, and hosts of the Development Category at the 7th Edition of the Find The Ball Invitational Netball Tournament.

Built on energy, passion, discipline, and raw talent, the BDF Kittens represent the next generation of elite netball stars emerging from the renowned BDF Cats development structure.

The team continues to unearth and nurture promising young athletes, many of whom are products of the BDF Sporting youth development pathways. Over the years, BDF Cats has built a reputation as one of Botswana’s leading clubs in athlete development, producing players who have gone on to compete at the highest levels of netball.

Now, the young Kittens step onto the Find The Ball stage ready to enjoy, learn and announce themselves to the region.

The future begins now.

The Stage Is Set For U17 Top 8 Competitions

It’s game time. The finest young talent in BONA’s U17 Development League is ready to take centre stage at BONA Courts on 9–10 May 2026.

Eight teams will battle it out across two action-packed days, each one chasing a place in the semi-finals and a shot at U17 Top 8 glory.

The future is here—fast, fearless, and ready to compete.

All roads lead to BONA Courts this weekend for a celebration of youth development, competitive netball, and the next generation of the game. Supporters are encouraged to come through and witness the future of the game in action.

BONA Under 17 Girls Top 8 Tournament Set for Gaborone

The Botswana Netball Association (BONA) is set to host the exciting Under 17 Girls Top 8 Tournament ,netball event showcasing the country’s most promising young talent.

Scheduled for 9–10 May 2026 in Gaborone, the tournament will bring together the ’top 8 teams from across Botswana to compete over two action-packed days. With onlyone champion to be crowned, the competition promises high intensity, skill, and determination as teams battle for national recognition.

The event aims to provide a platform for young athletes to develop their abilities, gain competitive experience, and shine on one of the biggest stages in youth netball. It also reflects BONA’s commitment to nurturing grassroots talent and building the future of the sport.

Guided by the theme “The Best Young Talent. The Biggest Stage. Be Part of the Journey!”,the tournament encourages players, coaches, and supporters to unite in celebrating the growth of netball in Botswana.

Fans and supporters are encouraged to attend and witness the next generation of netball stars in action as they compete with one goal in mind — to make history.
