MOETI UNITED FUNDRAISER TOURNAMENT ROUND UP

Last Saturday (29.08.26) Moeti United SC held a pre season fundraiser tournament at their famous Moeti United Park grounds.

The event featured the help and support from Maun based social clubs being BATHO Botlhe SC -MAUN , Smallville social soccer club - Maun , Mosele Social Club , YourMix Social Club , Easy Way and Moeti Elite social clubs. We extend our gratitude to those teams for making our event a success. This was causing a distress in our leadership as it was the first hosting such an event. But with full support from other teams the event was a success.

We would also like to thank the outgoing management for blending with the new regime to come up with such an exciting idea. Le kamoso. Last but not least, we thank the Moeti community for blessing the event by helping us sell out our tickets (coupons) for the day as a way of support our upcoming season . An amount over P5000 was raised.

🚨🚨🚨 FIXTURES ARE OUT FOR THE FUNDRAISER TOURNAMENT

We thank all the agreed teams to acknowledge our invite in our fundraiser tournament that will be held at Moeti United Park this Saturday 29th.

This will help the team raise money to prepare for necessities on the upcoming season. There will be food and refreshment coupons sold (P30) at the event.

Moeti United SC is happy to announce Amogelang Amzo Moathodi from Western Dynamites FC as our ladies head coach. She joins on a permanent transfer.

Coach Amzo brings intelligence and play offs experience as she took the Western ladies to the block play offs on the 2023/24 season. Adding on to this, she holds the CAF B and C coaching licenses to boost up her knowledge. She will also feature on the men's senior team as a third assistant coach. Let's wish her well and also provide her with the maximum support. Big! big brains from the experienced coach.

We are also in search of the girls/ young woman who aspire to be footballers. We look for ambitious young girls to join the team from under 15, 19, 23 and the senior ladies.

Training is weekly from 1630hrs to 1800hrs.

🚨🚨🚨AGM RESULTS

Yesterday we held our 2026/27 season opener Anual General Meeting at our grounds where the team voted for the management taking over the organization.

The AGM went smoothly as far as hopes were concerned. We managed to come up with a structure Moeti United has never used since it's establishment. Just a sprinkle of cheese on top of the marinate that was already prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the new era of Moeti United SC. A whole new set up!

ON SPOT SPECIALIST 🚨🚨

Do you know about the sniper Lesego Scage John? The well oiled left footed right wing? He still holds the club's penalty record as he sits on 100% conversion rate since the 2022/23 season till date.

The 21 year old talent is also the team's leading top goal scorer for 3 conservative seasons now as he registered 13 goals and 9 assists (22 G/A) this past one. He's one of the club's generational talents as he was developed under the guidance of Mr Patrick Shakes Mazonga from the age of 9. He still serves the badge now under the care of Jackalas Jacky Boesman wide pride.

We also congratulate our chairman Kebonyekgosi Skido Juta on his loss this passing month where he competed for a slot in the NHABE Regional Football Association committee elections.
