DIRECTIONS TO THE FUNERAL- Gaone Ratolame

Using the A2 Road from Lobatse, pass the Mmathethe junction, then immediately go up by the Junction Grill bar and join the pavement. Follow through the turns still on the pavement. You will reach the funeral. Goora Mosime.

From Mmathethe by the Mmathethe junction that intersects the A2 Lobatse Road with the Mmathethe turn off, go on your left then go up by the Junction Grill bar and join the pavement. Follow through the turns still on the pavement. You will reach the funeral.

Using the Kanye -Jwaneng road (A2 Highway) , stay straight on the main road and drive through town , pass Mongala Mall on your left through to the robots and go straight, Pass the Kanye Police Station on your right still proceeding straight , before the second Shell fueling station by BG turn on your right then go straight. Turn on your left before the Life Dome(Botshelo) Bar and follow through the gravel road. You will reach the funeral.

Lobatse SVM COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EVENT- 15/11/25

The dayโ€™s activities were held under the inspiring theme, โ€œEvery time we liberate a woman, we liberate a man.โ€

The event started with a health walk from Lobatse Sports Complex to Old Lobatse Stadium. It was attended by different stakeholders- Lobatse Police, BNSC, Botswana Council For Disabled, Mensector, RenaLeSeabe, Diagnofirm, Lobatse WASBO, SOFA Women's Representative and the general community members.

The Guest Speaker ACP E.Z Olopeng from Lobatse Police shared statistics aligned to gbv- assault, murder, su***de etc and encouraged attendees to improve their communication between- parents & children, families and community. He further urged Lobatse community to engage in powerful conversations and initiatives promoting gender equality, empowerment, and community. development for all.
