"Some of our premier league clubs lacks governance. "Mojaki (Monnakgotla) said it all. How can you make your own players suffer because the government chose to pay players (relief wages) directly? "They deliberately delayed to submit player's details. It's a sabotage. "There's no complience at all. "Now the association is begging clubs to send bank details. What do you call that? FOOTBALL NEWS - LATEST

All BFA football activities have been stopped amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Winners for all the football structures and activities have been unanimously decided and champions declared. Champions have been announced and promotional play-offs and relegation for the bottom three in each league log standing, have been declared, accordingly.

Despite the fact that Extension Gunners Fc were dogged 6 points, the Lobatse side has survived the dreaded axe. Congratulations to our players and the technical team.

Sports Grant for Premier League Teams

The sports minister Hon. Tumiso Rakgare has announced players sports grant which will be paid to players, both in the Primier league and the National First Division in South and north.

Categories are as follows:
Premier League player -P2,500.00
First Division team players - P1,500.00

No foreign player will be paid. This is a subsidy from government. Teams are equally urged to continue paying players as per individual contracts. Money from the ministry will be paid directly to players. Club's must apply for grants which will be paid for 3 months, being April, May, and June a relief for novel Corona virus (Covid 19.
