Born in Houston, Texas but raised abroad, Grandmaster Scott (Shu Wai Chung) began his martial arts training at age 4.

AUTHENTIC Shaolin and Wudang Martial Arts based organization designed to serve the community in which it exists by training interested people in Chinese Martial Science. Studying in traditional Korean Tae Kwon Do, he obtained the rank of Ni-Dan (2nd degree Black Belt) under Sa Bu Nim Kwang Sam Um of the Oriental Heritage Total Concept Martial Arts System. The bulk of his training and skills, howev

er, were secured underneath the over 30 year tutelage of High Priest Li Sho Pin of the Wudang/Shaolin Temple Institute of Learning, P.R.O.C. Grandmaster Scott has a Bachelors' in Business Administration/Hotel-Restaurant Management. In addition, he holds certifications in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Healing and Qigong Massage. He received the rank of Grandmaster from High Priest Li Sho Pin after he founded the International Gung Fu and Healing Center in February, 2002. Grandmaster Scott also won and held many tournament titles, including U.S. Champion, Big-D Nationals, 1992-1995, and World Champion, Southern Style Hung Fists, 1998-2000 (Las Vegas, Nevada). Along with his Teacher, Li Sho Pin, he has taught martial sciences to interested members of all branches of the U.S. military and Law Enforcement. He has recently been recommended for U.N. Ambassadorial Training, and has also been recommended for induction into several martial arts Halls of Fame. Currently, as Secretary General of the Botswana All Budo Styles Association, he lives and teaches in Botswana, Africa, and as the African Continent President under the International Chinese Martial Arts Federation/International Wushu Sanshou Federation, is poised to bring Botswana onto the world stage in Chinese Martial Arts. His 'sister school' is run by his classmate of over 30 years, Grandmaster F. Michael Aronson, Birds of Prey Kung Fu/Taichi, in Houston, Texas.

Reluctantly, our Father's Day Event was postponed, due to the unexpected and very harsh, inclement, rainy, cold Winter Weather that we experienced here in Botswana this June. But not to worry, as we are already looking at dates in August to bring to you this AMAZING and much-needed event! There will be some EXTRA, ADDED BONUSES for all of you who previously purchased tickets for the event, and those details will be shared as we get closer to our dates. Aside from being a most auspicious and introspective day for us all here on the Continent and Worldwide, as it is the Day of the African Child, it, too, is of equal reverence and importance that we also celebrate the 9th Year Anniversary and "Birthday" of the International Gung Fu and Healing Center, Botswana. Registered on this day, June 16th in 2017 with the Botswana Registrar of Societies, our organization has thrived and prospered through both turbulent and triumphant times as we've continued to actively seek out, identify, nurture and develop the country's finest young athletes in the field of Chinese Martial Sciences. We continue this push forward through our programs of community outreach in gender-based violence awareness and eradication through our Gontse Movement, and our Male Mentorship Programs with local schools, in partnership with other community stakeholders. As Founder and Head Instructor of our Kwoon, I wish us a very "Happy Birthday" and 9th Year Anniversary. May the Creator of All Things continue to bless us and keep us strong as we reach for our stars...🌍🌌🥳👏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾

We will engage Boys, Male Youth, Young Adult Males; Men of ALL ages! Come and take part in informative workshops and discussions from our Community Partners from Men and Boys for Gender Equality, United Against Gender-Based Violence Coalition, GR8R THAN FITNESS, Cherished Beings Trust, Agora Club Botswana, the Boys Code Foundation, BBM Counseling and Recovery Services, and many others! From Health and Wellness Checks, Tai Chi Meditation in Movement, Gung Fu and Self Defense Techniques against Bullying and Human Trafficking to Male Mentorship and Parenting, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counseling, Entrepreneurship, Spirituality and Your Faith, and much, MUCH MORE!!!! Join us on the day, this Sunday May 10th, 2026 at Athena Gardens Event Venue near Notwane from 10am until 2pm for a Mother's Day Brunch filled with amazing activities, including an introduction to the "Grand Ultimate Fist", Taichi Chuan, by Laoshi Shu Wai Chung and Assistant Instructors from their organization.
