Botswana National Sports Commission(BNSC) has promoted BBA to Tier 2 from Tier 4 in a less than a year in following a critical assessment of national associations performance and management based on Botswana National Sport Associations Resource Allocation Scheme (BONSARAS) for the 2024/2025 financial year.
When reacting to the outcome,BBA President Mr. Modisaotsile Badubi stated that;
ββ¦the promotion of Botswana Badminton Association to Tier 2 as per the Botswana National Sport Associations Resource Allocation Scheme is a true testament to the hard work and dedication shown by the men and women entrusted with the responsibility of developing this sport. Since assuming office in September 2023, the National Executive Committee in direct consultation with its members set clear objectives for the Association, the bulk of which we have attained as a collective despite the many challenges along the way. As we set our sights on upcoming activities in the next few months ahead of our elective AGM in August 2024, we are elated to hand over a much more efficient, resilient and trustworthy Association to our members bearing in mind that *tiro e santse e le ntsi ko peleβ¦β
