One athlete. One pathway. One Region moving together.

AUSC Region 5 joined sports leaders from across Southern Africa at the inaugural ANOCA Zone VI Secretaries General Seminar in Ezulwini, Eswatini.

The conversation was direct: how do we turn national plans into real opportunities for athletes?

From stronger institutional cooperation to the Region 5 Youth Games and the road to LA 2028, the priority is clear - Southern Africa must coordinate its talent, knowledge and resources more effectively.

Because regional integration only matters when it produces results for the people sport is meant to serve.

From plans to action. From national ambition to regional progress.

September will not be a month of posters about inclusion.
It will be a month of people.

Athletes. Coaches. Families. Federations. Communities.
We will learn the sports. Ask difficult questions. Challenge misconceptions. Celebrate performance. And talk about the barriers that still need to move.

Because Para sport is not only about who reaches the podium.
It is also about who gets through the door.

Welcome to Region 5 Paralympic Month.
Make Noise. Make Space.
