A special congratulations to Lone Mphare of Titans Boxing Stable on securing his first competitive victory in the Elite Men’s 60kg division, earning a dominant 5–0 unanimous decision over Keratile Sejiso of Diamond Boxing Club.

Every boxer remembers their first win, and Lone’s record book will forever reflect a victory in his debut bout, a milestone that can never be taken away. An impressive start to what promises to be an exciting journey in the sport.

An exceptional weekend in the ring for Titans Boxing Stable’s Lethabo Modukanele in the Elite Women’s 51kg division at the Mental Health Awareness Boxing Tournament.

Lethabo opened her campaign on Saturday with a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Jennifer Sechi of Diamond Boxing Club before returning on Sunday to deliver a commanding 5–0 unanimous win against Precious Masaba of EMG Club.

Two days. Two victories. A remarkable display of her skill, determination, and fighting spirit.

🥊🇧🇼 COMMONWEALTH GAMES PREPARATIONS UNDERWAY

The Botswana Boxing Association is pleased to announce the Senior National Boxing Team selected to begin preparations for the upcoming 2026 Commonwealth Games scheduled for 23 July – 2 August 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland.

In line with the National Team Selection Policy, the Coaches Committee together with the Technical Commission selected the provisional national team and subsequently appraised the EXCO on their decision. The boxers were selected on merit following recommendations contained in the Technical Commission communiqué submitted to the Executive Committee.

The selected athletes are expected to report for a two-week local training camp beginning this week as preparations intensify ahead of the Games.

BoBA further notes that Botswana was allocated only two competing athlete slots by the organisers, with the remaining athletes forming part of the preparation and support structure for camp purposes.
