As the society, its is our responsibility to make sure that you understand our mandate, objective and ecosystem. This is our strategic way to contribute positively not only to the community but to the economy through our complex multi-collaborating techniques using our ecosystem.
Here is our ecosystem explained
Polo
We will start our main mandate Polo, firstly the people who are going to benefit from this sport are the players themselves (Locally and internationally). And our international players, judges, coaches, attendees, regulatory boards (SA Polo Association, Zambia Polo Association etc.) will need accommodation making hotels to be one of our direct beneficiaries. Together with Car rentals, restaurants, malls and banks where our international visitors will be using all these services during our international tournaments. Local players will also benefit from the sport as they will be getting paid to participate in the sport by their teams, and these teams will have sponsors who will be funding them in order to participate in our tournaments!, in return of market leverage and goodwill on corporates operating on the host location of the tournaments.
Beside international tournaments, corporations will be changed for advertising rights in exchange of branding the park with their logos on the sides of our polo fields. Our field will be used by our members, clubs and players everyday for morning and sunset chukkas (Polo sessions) and mini tournaments for the kids.
Distribution
Alcohol distributors, farmers, veterinarians, government, schools will be benefiting from the distribution channel of our ecosystem. Alcohol distributors will be selling their alcoholic brands, sponsoring and partnering with the polo tournaments in order to advertise, market and sell their brands at the international and local tournaments hosted and regulated by the Society.
Farmers will be producing food, vegetables, raw materials and hay to be distributed from place of production to our park for the horses and club house restaurant. The veterinarians will be regularly checking and observing any illness or physical dysfunction of our horses and our clients' horses at the park. Private schools will be adding polo as part of their sports curriculum of which will raise the goodwill of the schools to go high.
The government will be benefiting from the taxes paid by the employment created by the industry. From the executive Committee to the tournaments, to the clubs, employees of the clubs, gambling levy as well as the alcohol levy. The government will also benefit from taxes from the tourism sector as the society will be internationally advertising Botswana in the international regulatory boards, websites, exhibitions and tournaments.
Engagement
The art, media and creative industries will be engaged by the sport in various way.
There will be after parties of which artists, MCs and Disc Jockeys will be booked and paid for in order to entertain the audience. This goes further to the production companies behind the entertainment industry as the stage & sound production, lighting, models, venue, security and décor companies will be engaged in order to tick every aspect of the events after the tournaments.
Media houses such as radio, photographers, newspapers, online newspapers, magazines and television will be engaged to cover, review and spectate on all the activities that society will have organized. This will make the consumers of these media houses get interested not only on the sport but also on other reviews on their platforms.
Visual artists will be given a platform to showcase their talents through most activities such as exhibitions, tournaments, meet and greets that will be organized by the society and the clubs affiliated under the society. This is giving artists a chance to be showcased and be seen by the public with 0% commission on all transactions between the artists and consumer.
