Botswana Tennis Association Elects New Leadership and Recognizes Outstanding Contributions at Annual General Meeting
Gaborone, Botswana – 3rd December 2023 – The Botswana Tennis Association (BTA) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Saturday, December 2nd, at Lekidi Football Centre. The AGM marked a significant moment for the tennis community in Botswana, addressing key agenda items, acknowledging outstanding contributions, and introducing the newly elected National Executive Committee (NEC).
Key Agenda Items:
The AGM covered pivotal matters, including comprehensive Executive and Financial reports, as well as the election of the national executive committee. Members engaged in discussions vital to the strategic growth of the association.
In a heartfelt gesture, the BTA presented the Confederation of African Tennis award to the family of the late coach Mthandazo Sibanda, recognizing his enduring service to the sport. Coach Sibanda was honored during the 50th CAT AGM in Kenya.
Affiliate Updates on BTA Strategy:
Affiliates received updates in alignment with the BTA strategy, covering Performance, Participation, Coaches Education and Development, Infrastructure, and PR & Marketing.

8. Mr Nchidzi Batisani – Director of Finance
