OFFICIAL MATCH UPDATE | BOBIRWA CHAMPIONS CHARITY CUP – SEASON 4

The Bobirwa Champions Charity Cup Organising Committee wishes to inform all supporters, teams, and stakeholders that the match between Young Brothers FC and African Supers FC could not be completed after regulation time. Although the match ended in a draw, the required penalty shootout could not be played due to darkness.

In accordance with the Botswana Football Association (BFA) Rules and Regulations, specifically Clause 9.3, which provides that where a game is abandoned without the fault of either participating team, it shall be replayed at the same venue on a date determined by the competent authority, and Clause 9.3.2, which empowers the League Committee or BFA competent authority to determine a new date for a match that cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the control of the participating teams, the Organising Committee has resolved that the match will restart.
