In the Bangkok Chess Championship which is currently underway. There are three players from Bhutan or based in Bhutan participating in this prestigious tournament. Ngawang Kheychog has been sent by BCF and two other players Lhundrup M Dorji and Mr Eric Tam are participating on their own.

All three players have had a very good start to the tournament after three rounds. Ngawang has 1.5 point, Lhundrup has 2 points and Eric also has 2 points after 3 rounds.

Eric is playing in the Open category while Ngawang and Lhundrup are playing in the Challenger category.

We look forward to hearing of many more wins in the biggest most prestigious Chess tournament of Thailand.

Ngawang Kheychog who is representing Bhutan at the 22nd BCC (Bangkok Chess Championship) has had a fantastic start to his maiden International tournament. In his first three rounds he has had a win and a draw with 1.5 point out of 3 games. Today the 4th round.

Well done and keep on fighting.
