When we first installed the pitch, we skipped installing drainage pipes feeling that the slope would be adequate to drain out the water. But it wasn't really. So now we are in the process of installing underground drainage pipes. And there is a huge difference!

The pictures below were taken after the heavy showers. They show the areas that still don't have the drainage pies (left) and areas where the pipes have already been installed. The areas with the pipes are completely dry!

Our turf is the short futsal turf. For the best experience always use proper futsal shoes with better rubbery grip. Football shoes have cleats that are too long to give a proper grip, and are best avoided!
