Back in August 2008, Elnet Maritime took that risk by securing our first agency appointment at the BORCO terminal. The vision was clear. To build a Bahamian maritime powerhouse that provided absolute, uncompromised precision.

That drive was built from the ground up by our CEO, Ellie Hepburn, who learned the realities of the maritime industry firsthand, starting his career as a sixteen-year-old stevedore.

Eighteen years later, that calculated risk has transformed Elnet into what it is today, the leading full-service maritime agency in The Bahamas. We now operate out of our state-of-the-art Elnet Maritime Center in Freeport, managing high-capacity operations alongside global entities.

Beyond our commercial scale, we are actively shaping The Bahamas Blue Economy by training the next generation of Bahamian professionals through our Maritime 101 program.

The Victoria Bay is a 2024-built chemical and product tanker measuring 183 meters long with a 49,999 DWT capacity.

She called into Freeport for inward clearance, where speed and proper documentation are everything. Inward formalities require direct coordination with local port authorities to make sure the vessel gets cleared, and approved without unnecessary delays.
