242.Sports The organization will bring... On a weekly basis an athlete will be placed in the spotlight for his or her accomplishments for the period.

242Sports is a local organization founded with the purpose of highlighting and recognizing the accomplishments of Bahamian athletes residing in the Bahamas and abroad. The organization will bring need attention to athletes of every age group, ranging from primary school students to those who dedicated their careers to sports. Athletes obtaining this form of recognition will be eligible for acknowl

edgement as Athlete of the Month, and Athlete of the Year. In addition to its informational feature, this website may also be used as a promotional tool for athletes; assisting with preparation of sports resumes, highlight videos for a fee, and liaising with college on their behalf, providing guidance and assistance where required. Finally, 242Sports will provide retail paraphernalia for all Bahamians, so that we may proudly represent the Bahamas as we support our very own athletes. 242 to the WORLD!!

The NPVA will be hosting their All-Star games today over by the DW Davis High School Gym. Games start at 3:30pm and entrance fee is only 3 dollars. Feel free to head over and support!

This is a new website to support all of our Bahamian athletes no matter their age, gender, level of play, or location; if you are a Bahamian, we want you to shine. We need our athletes that represent our country to get the recognition they deserve no matter what! Sports brings forth opportunities of a lifetime and the younger kids need to be aware of all the possibilities out there. Making them knowledgeable of opportunities like scholarships, a career playing something you love, representing the country or simply traveling the world; I think many kids would stop gang banging and dedicate more time in becoming a better athlete that will help them become better individuals.
