Well, no surprise here - you did it again campers! First place - Gold star! To be honest I wasn't sure today would live up to standard because every day was better than the next ... but with this group I don't know what I was worried about because you rocked it! Big thanks to Celina for sharing her glow light and paint with us so we could have a super fun dance party! I need to get myself some of that pink mascara for a night out on the town;)
At circle time today we reflected on everything we did over the past few weeks...and truly, it was an impressive list! I don't think we left a stone unturned...we hit every verb going: we jumped, hoola-hooped, 'wheelied', skipped, danced, limboed, hopped, swam, sang, painted, yelled, laughed, joked, hugged, built, colored, and quite frankly slipped right into summer! Your creativity, imagination and energy could move mountains...Do. Not. EVER. Loose. That!
You flooded me with thanks and hugs at the end of camp today but truly, I am the lucky one!
Finally, a HUGE THANK YOU to my right and left hands over the past few weeks: Ms. W, Ms. C, Ms Sara, Mr. Sean, Mz Hadyn and a couple of special dragonflies that checked in with us often!
Enjoy the rest of your summer campers...as for Ms. D, I'm going for a nap! ###...

I think we tried to wheelie ourselves right into the weekend! From this mornings stations we made some cool pet rocks and beautiful sun catchers ~ dolphins, butterflies and turtles. Then we played a few of our favorite drama games and cooled out with one of Ms D’s favorite stories, Mortimer, by Robert Munsch. We still can’t seem to figure out the trick to the Open/Closed game but I surely hope we can solve it by tmrw!
This afternoon along w pool time and more wheelies, you made the most beautiful hand print calendars. Absolutely perfect!
Our last party day tmrw campers! No doubt you will end on a high note! 🎉❤️🌈🌞

We definitely scored a home run today campers! This morning we settled so nicely into our morning stations, building, puzzles, coloring rainbows and unicorns. Some campers brought in their crafts from home to share with their friends and we even had our own personal DJ K’ylin rockin out some tunes for us while we danced.
After circle time and recess we played an intense game of b-ball on the courts while the rest of us made homemade soap... so cool!
We finished the day coolin out in the pool, on the slip n slide and making volcanoes. Thank you campers for such a wonderful day!

And on that note, there is no way they are letting this week go by without a Wheely day so even though we are closed tmrw for Independence Day we agreed that campers can bring their Wheely in on Thursday. 🎉💪🏽🌼🌈🚴🏽‍♀️🚴🏾‍♂️

Wowzers! Well didn’t that Monday roll right past us in the blink of an eye! Truth, we were outside playing canon-ball alley at 9:30 am and hit the basketball courts at 10:30! We had so much energy today... must have had a restful weekend. We will try our best to keep up with your pace campers because we certainly don’t want you going home with too much energy!
Popcorn toss was messy and fun this afternoon and you did a great job on your sand art... and pretty sure today’s second group was the best whirl pool to date!
Keep practicing those hip stretches, our hoola hoop competition got quite intense this am and we are having a rematch tmrw!
Rest well campers, tmrw we will decide about having Wheely day on Thursday and the always fun, volcano making!

This is how we do summer at LIS!!! We will not apologize! We are loud, proud and full of love!!! WE. DONʼT. STOP. for anything! Full steam ahead ... granted today we did lay our sweaty bodies down after our fun and even funnier game of bubble ball kick ball and imagine adventurous stories as starfish... honestly, listening to those stories during pool time, was inspiring! Campers, you come into camp every. Single. Day. And give it your
all...you are full of life and we have had so much fun with you this week. You skipped away this week with your hands full of awesome crystals, beautiful picture frames, tummies full of the sundae treat you made and hopefully lasting memories.
Thank you campers for showing us what summer is all about! Enjoy your weekend and we look forward to seeing you next
week for our final week of camp... we will try our best to plan THE. BEST. ONE. YET! 🎉🌻🏊🌈😍🌟

It may be possible that today was one of our best days yet~ we can attribute it to how good we all looked in our amazing camp shirts or the fact that we had a long deep sleep after our Wheely Wednesday but either way, everything just seemed to flow.
From our art and games this am to our photo shoot and science experiment on crystal making we slid like silk into lunch. After lunch we played relay races, scavenger hunt and don’t think campers would let us pass up pool time, not a chance ~ what an awesome day! And I promise, tmrw will not disappoint...we only go up from here! Sweet dreams campers 😴🌈💕

That was some serious ride or die wheeling you did today campers! Between that and Ms Cash’s magic games I am absolutely mesmerized! You made the most beautiful paintings, played water games I’ve never even heard of and those incredible picture frames you decorated are going to be a very special keepsake.

Don’t forget to wear your camp shirt tmrw pls as we are taking a group photo for the frame. Rest up campers, tmrw is another action packed day! 🎉🌈🌞
