On September 1st Hurricane Dorian pummeled Abaco. Few came out unscathed. Lives, homes, and businesses were lost, The Outboard Shop being one of them. A few weeks after the storm the team from the Outboard Shop went to assess the damage. The yard, which before the storm held 40+ boats for storage was now empty with only the cement blocks (on which the boats once stood) remaining. The building which was the office and workshop lay flat on the ground, now just a heap of rubble. We are down but not out. We are slowly beginning to pick up the pieces. Thank you for your patience with us. The Outboard Shop is back, for now with limited service but we will continue to push forward to be back better than ever.
