Também vamos acompanhar de perto nossos estudantes-atletas que defendem high schools nos Estados Unidos. E, para começar, já temos destaque individual. ⭐️

Neste ano, a Montverde Academy disputa pela primeira vez a United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), competindo na Florida Central Conference nas divisões Premier e Division 1.

Após os dois primeiros jogos, Antonio Amado foi escolhido para a Team of the Week da Division 1. 🙌

O meio-campista começou deixando sua marca: foram 2 gols na vitória sobre o Golden Goal Soccer, na estreia dos Eagles na competição. ⚽️⚽️

2SV’s season goes beyond college soccer.

We’ll also be following our student-athletes competing at high schools across the United States, and we already have our first individual recognition. ⭐️

This year, Montverde Academy is competing in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) for the first time, taking part in the Florida Central Conference at both the Premier and Division 1 levels.

Just two matches into the competition, Antonio Amado was named to the Division 1 Team of the Week. 🙌

The midfielder had already made his mark in the opener, scoring 2 goals in the Eagles’ win over Golden Goal Soccer. ⚽️⚽️

Nosso estudante-atleta Guilherme Quintas foi eleito, pela segunda semana consecutiva, o jogador defensivo da semana da South Atlantic Conference (SAC). 🎖️🎖️

Um reconhecimento que nenhum jogador do Catawba College conquistava desde 2023.

Titular nas 5 primeiras partidas, o zagueiro já acumula 431 minutos em campo, a 2ª maior marca do elenco, além de 1 gol e 1 assistência.

Com Guilherme em destaque no sistema defensivo, os Indians seguem invictos, com 4 vitórias e 1 empate, e estão há três partidas seguidas sem sofrer gols. 🔒

Our student-athlete Guilherme Quintas has earned South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second straight week. 🎖️🎖️

Before Quintas’ back-to-back honors, no Catawba College player had received the award since 2023.

A starter in each of the first 5 matches, the center back has logged 431 minutes, the 2nd-most on the roster, while also contributing 1 goal and 1 assist.

With Guilherme anchoring the back line, the Indians remain unbeaten at 4–0–1 and have posted three straight clean sheets. 🔒

Início de temporada agitado para o nosso estudante-atleta Jose Lucca e a Faulkner University. 🫡

Com 5 vitórias nas 6 primeiras partidas, os Eagles alcançaram um feito inédito ao entrar, pela primeira vez na história, no Top 25 nacional da NAIA, ocupando a 22ª colocação.

Peça importante nessa campanha, o zagueiro é o 4º jogador do elenco com mais minutos em campo até aqui. 🛡️

Apesar do revés na última rodada, a oportunidade de resposta já está marcada.

It has been a busy start to the season for our student-athlete Jose Lucca and Faulkner University. 🫡

With 5 wins through the first 6 matches, the Eagles made program history by breaking into the NAIA Top 25 for the first time ever, earning the No. 22 spot nationally.

A key piece of that run, the center back currently ranks 4th on the roster in minutes played. 🛡️

The latest result brought that momentum to a halt, but the next opportunity to respond is already here.

This Thursday, September 17, the Eagles return home to face Xavier University of Louisiana, looking to get back in the win column and recapture the form that pushed the program to a historic national ranking. 🦅

In a 10–2 win over William Peace University, the Royals set a new program record with 10 goals and 8 assists in a single match. 📊

Among the individual highlights, vitor torezan ranks 3rd on the roster in minutes played and has already recorded 1 goal, 1 assist, and 3 points so far.

Looking to keep the momentum going, the Royals host Jacksonville University this Saturday, September 12, for their first home Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) match of the season.
