✅ On June 12th, the FUB (the French Federation of Bicycle Users) will hold its annual conference in Bourg-en-Bresse on the theme “Promoting Cycling Throughout France: Uniting, Implementing, and Expanding!”

👏 This event is a great example of what national federations promoting cycling in their countries accomplish to integrate cycling into national plans and regulations !

✅ We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the federations that support us and without whom the COP Bike Ride could not have the same impact, notably the FUB in France but also the FIAB in Italy, and ConBici in Spain, as well as the European Cycling Federation! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

COP Bike Ride from Brazil to Türkiye in 2026: Dates and locations !!!

We are glad to share the specific dates and locations for most of the branches of the COP Bike Ride edition going from Belém Brazil to Antalya, Türkiye for the COP31, to advocate for cycling as a means to reduce carbon emissions !

We aim to be this year the longest bike relay ever achieved and also the biggest in history with 10,000 cyclists !🚴‍♀️🚴🏻🚴‍♂️

🚴‍♀️🚴 ✅ Please register without waiting, even if you are not yet fully certain to participate (you can indicate a % of chance!). If a date changes by plus or minus one day over a branch and if you registered, you will be notified !

Together : The movie synopsis
Following the very first edition of the COP Bike Ride to COP29 in 2024, aimed at promoting everyday cycling as an affordable and fast solution for reducing carbon emissions, new challenges await the riders in 2025!

- How can they travel from Azerbaijan to Brazil, the host country of COP30, using only sustainable transportation?
- How can they amplify the impact of their initiative, and in what ways does it symbolize citizen movements?
- In a climate where environmental concerns are being sidelined, how can they motivate, challenge, and demand commitments from politicians?

Together tells the story of the initiative to organize the world’s largest bike relay ever undertaken, for the climate.

It is driven by everyone’s desire to be part of a joyful, engaging project where doubts are set aside with the firm conviction that they will represent more than the sum of the Parties at this conference.

🥳 We are glad to share the first rough dates for the main branch of the COP31 Bike Ride, going this year from Brazil to the COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye to promote everyday cycling as an important solution for curbing our emissions !!! 🥳

🚴 The ride will start from Brazil, cross the Atlantic by sailing boat, reach Portugal before the end of June, cross Spain in July, France in August, Italy in end August-September, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria (and possibly other countries) from mid September to beg October and finally be in Türkiye throughout October and until the 9th of November 2026 for the start of the COP31 !

Many other branches are under design from multiple countries, exact locations and dates of those and the main branch will come in the following weeks. Whatever they end up being, expect lots of fun, passion, and pro-climate resolution during the ride We should be a total of 10 000 cyclists in the relay in this year !

✨ Stay tuned for more updates on the exact dates and places and, in the meantime, you can pre-register on our COP31 page to be on the mission for a day, a week or more, and share a human experience like no other :

➡️ COP30 Week 1 (2nd part) 🚲

The mission of the COP30 Bike Ride was not finished for the 1st week at COP and we met actively with many other inspiring and powerful people who are drivers for change!

Picture 8: We also met the delegation of Luxembourg responsible for environment and transport for a talk about active mobility. They are already convinced about the importance of developing everyday cycling and walking, for the climate but mainly for a better health and quality of life which is what citizens of Luxembourg are asking.
