Five movements. Hundreds of ways to adapt them. One clear purpose: keeping you strong and capable.

The foundation of every Poseidon group session is built around five fundamental movement patterns:

1. Squat
2. Hinge
3. Push
4. Pull
5. Carry

These aren’t five “magic exercises.” They are physical abilities that appear throughout everyday life—from getting out of a chair and lifting something from the floor to carrying shopping and maintaining upper-body strength.

Everyone in the session may use a different exercise, load or progression. That is where the coaching comes in.

We adapt each movement around the individual—their experience, injury history, current ability and goals—within a private group of no more than six people.

Simple foundations. Individual coaching. Meaningful progression.

Save this as a reminder of what a complete strength programme should develop.

ExerciseRehabilitation

The first signs of declining strength rarely appear during a workout.

They appear in everyday life:

Getting out of a chair.
Climbing stairs.
Carrying shopping.
Getting down to the floor—and confidently getting back up.

Strength training isn’t about turning everyone into an athlete. It is about protecting the physical capacity that allows you to remain active, independent and involved in the life you enjoy.

The earlier you begin protecting that strength, the more you have to work with.

Send this to someone who wants to stay capable as they get older.

If conventional gyms feel crowded, intimidating or impersonal, Poseidon was designed to offer something different.

Every session is fully coached, numbers are limited to a maximum of six, and each person trains at the level appropriate for them.

Whether you’re returning after injury, new to strength training or simply want to remain strong and capable as you get older, you don’t need to “get fit” before you begin.

You just need the right place to start.

You do not need to be fit before coming to Poseidon.

You do not need experience with weights, confidence in a gym, or any idea where to begin.

Poseidon Performance is a private strength and exercise-rehabilitation studio in Dartmouth, created for people who want expert coaching without the crowds, noise or uncertainty of a commercial gym.

Whether you are returning after injury, rebuilding confidence or simply want to remain strong and capable as you get older, we meet you at your current level and progress from there.

Every new client starts with a structured assessment. Small-group sessions are fully coached and limited to a maximum of six people.

No pressure. No generic programme. No need to “get fit” first.

Just the right starting point and a clear plan forward.

EREBUS 2026

EARN THE RIGHT.

This December, Poseidon Performance launches its first earned qualification event.

Not a competition.
Not a 1RM test.
Not just another T-shirt.

The idea is simple:

Core Poseidon apparel can be bought.

EREBUS 2026 has to be earned.

Members will train towards age-, s*x- and bodyweight-relative strength standards across the coming months.

Qualification is based on 3 clean reps in:

Trap Bar Deadlift
SSB Box Squat
Bench Press

During Qualification Week — 17–21 December 2026 — anyone who successfully completes the required standards will earn the right to order the limited EREBUS 2026 edition.

The aim is not to create powerlifters.

It is to build stronger, more capable people with a meaningful target to work towards through autumn and winter.

The garment itself will reflect the concept:

Dark.
Understated.
Tonal.
Year-marked.

Once EREBUS 2026 is gone, it’s gone.

You cannot buy this one.

You have to earn it.

POSEIDON PERFORMANCE — EREBUS 2026

EARN THE RIGHT

This December, we’re launching something new at Poseidon.

Not another challenge.
Not a competition.
And not just another T-shirt.

EREBUS 2026 will be the first Poseidon Earn The Right qualification event.

The idea is simple:

Core Poseidon clothing can be bought.

The Erebus Edition has to be earned.

From now until December, members will have the opportunity to train towards a defined set of strength standards based on age, s*x and bodyweight.

During Qualification Week, 17–21 December 2026, anyone who successfully completes all required standards will earn the right to order the limited EREBUS 2026 edition.

All strength standards are based on 3 clean, technically acceptable repetitions.

This isn’t about chasing ugly 1-rep maxes.

It’s about demonstrating control, strength and ownership of the load.

And strength will only be part of it.

The final Erebus qualification will also include broader tests of robustness, carrying capacity and physical capability.

The aim is not to create powerlifters.

The aim is to give people a meaningful target through autumn and winter, and to celebrate what Poseidon is actually about:

Getting stronger.
Becoming more capable.
Building confidence.
Maintaining standards.

The garment will be deliberately different from the normal Poseidon range — dark, understated, tonal and year-marked.

Once EREBUS 2026 is gone, it’s gone.

You won’t be able to buy it later.

You’ll either have earned it, or you won’t.
