Martin Koprivlenski steps up in the main event at EFA 2, aiming for a new title in a higher weight class against “The Moroccan Warrior” Ilyass Chakir.
EFA Champion Martin Koprivlenski moves up in weight for his second main event appearance at Elite Fighting Arena. The 23-year-old Bulgarian fighter will contend for the welterweight belt against Ilyass Chakir, a seasoned Moroccan opponent with extensive international experience.
The fight is scheduled for October 3rd at Asics Arena in Sofia, with tickets available on kupibileti.bg and partners.
This bout will be fought under K-1 rules at 83.9 kg over five three-minute rounds.
Koprivlenski, holding three titles - EFA Champion, FIMT World Champion, and Maxfight Champion - sports a 15-2 professional record. He became EFA’s first champion in March 2026 by defeating the previously unbeaten Valentino Valente in the main event of EFA 1. Known for his footwork, speed, and close-range effectiveness, he now faces a larger opponent with extensive international combat experience.
His opponent, Ilyass Chakir, aka “The Moroccan Warrior,” has a 17-5-1 record, including six knockouts. A member of Morocco’s national team, Chakir holds titles as a World Champion in AFSO, a SENSHI Champion, an African Champion, and has made two GLORY appearances.
