🤺🇦🇪 In partnership with the Dubai Sports Council and Hamdan Sports Complex , MK Fencing Academy announces the "Fencing: The Sport of the Nation" first of its kind and unique campaign open only to young Emiratis girls and boys aged 10 to 12 years old. The campaign is also supported by the UAE Fencing Federation .
This initiative aims to popularise the Olympic sport of Fencing in the UAE, especially among young Emiratis, by promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and nurturing physical and social skills like teamwork and leadership.
Since 2022, MK Fencing Academy has been committed to creating champions and role models in fencing, upholding human values, and aspiring for regional and international success for UAE 🇦🇪 .
Registration for our athlete trials can be done here: https://forms.office.com/r/N5HzWkqARw. Spaces are limited, so it's first-come, first-served.
Following the trials, 12 young athletes (boys and girls) will be selected for a four-year, cost-free training programme focusing on Olympic preparation. The final list will be announced on February 16, 2024, with twice-weekly training sessions at MK Fencing Academy starting on February 20.
