Scottish Championship race report
So after all the weekends excitement we just realised we for got to do a race report.
Saturday night was the ninja karts Scottish championship at HRP Lochgelly. Ht1 the kart wasn’t handling too good and had some bouncing issues for first 3-4 laps, so dropped back from pole to finish 5th place. Ht2 was a bit better, coming from the back of the grid, putting in a good strong drive to finish 3rd but was docked for jumping a restart. This put JL on 2nd row 4th position for the Scottish championship final. Managed to hold 4th, and wasgoing for 3rd when there was a slight coming together with kart infront when JL went up the inside. Jl held 3rd and was chasing down 2nd place when the yellows came out. After the restart the front 2 karts had a little tangle, so JL seized the opportunity and passed them on the inside, and pushed on all the way for the next 5 laps to take the win, and become the 2026 Scottish champion. A very emotional win.
