А tricky day two tested the patience and skills of both sailors and the Race Committee. Racing commenced at approximately 1205 under northern wind with direction 350 to 015 and speed between 9 and 15 knots. After one race for the Optimist and all other fleets except 470, which raced two, a long period of delay has come due to the very shifty winds that changed direction from north west to southeast. Finally, at 1545, Racing has been abandoned due to severe squal forming from the north. All sailors have returned to port safely.

Racing resumes today with the first warning signal for all fleets on the race course scheduled for 1200.

Some pre-start photos of the cold Racing day 1!
A total of 2 races for each class fleet have been completed on both race courses, Alpha & Bravo. The conditions were not easy as we had 10-12 degrees air temp and up to 20 knots of northern wind with approximately 2-meter waves and light rain. Uneasy conditions for media teams for sure :)

Full admiration to all sailors for giving their best!

A few shots from this year`s fantastic regatta!
We have managed to produce a great event with strong competition, where the best have emerged victorious!

Special gratitude to Coding Giants Bulgaria and their massive contribution as the headliner of the event for three years in a row!

We are inviting everyone to Bourgas Sailing Week 2026, which will take place between 29.04 - 03.05.2025.

Our goal for the upcoming event is to raise the bar of competition even higher, attract more international participation, and create one of the best competitions in Europe. We sure have the means to do it!
