CAN THE DUTCH DO IT AGAIN ON BELGIAN WATERS?

Belgium also delivered several strong performances. Michel Keersmaekers won the 50+ category in all three disciplines. Nathalie Van Olmen finished second in the women's 40+ Long Distance category. Lesly Adriaensen reached the podium in both Sprint and Technical Race, while Louis Pierre secured bronze in the Junior Sprint and Junior Technical Race. Wim Luyckx also held his own in a highly competitive international 40+ field.
Now the focus shifts to Belgium.
On Saturday June 27, the Belgian Championship Technical Race takes place at Surfclub Windekind in Oostduinkerke. The North Sea offers a completely different challenge, with beach starts, surf entries and exits, technical buoy turns and ever-changing conditions where local knowledge can become just as important as pure speed.
Adding even more excitement, several French Technical Race specialists are expected to make the trip to Belgium, creating one of the strongest Technical Race fields ever seen on Belgian waters.
Will the Dutch athletes repeat their Dutch Championship success?
Will reigning Belgian Champions Kjell and Lorane successfully defend their titles?
Will the Belgian riders defend their home waters?
Or will the French delegation upset both nations?
We will find out on June 27.
