Welcome to BSA! We offer soccer, basketball and baseball in English to children in the Brussels region aged 4-13. We’d love for you to be part of our community!

The Brussels Sports Association (BSA) has been serving the community for almost 60 years. We currently provide sporting opportunities all year round to over 600 children of both the international and Belgian community in four sports (soccer/football, lacrosse, basketball and baseball). We are a Belgian-approved not for profit organization whose success is achieved through the generosity of its spo

nsors and through its many volunteers. Our sports programs are open to children from any school. English is not a prerequisite – many families of non English-speaking countries participate in the BSA in order to help their children improve their English in a fun and safe environment.

Want to help us open up more sports spots for our kids this fall?
We need YOU to join Bolt’s coaching squad! 🐯⚽🏀⚾🏐

As a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization, the Brussels Sports Association is entirely powered by our incredible community. Our teams are coached by parent volunteers of registered players, and there is a very simple rule: the more coaches we have, the more children we can allow to participate!

If you want to make a positive impact, connect with other families, and help us get as many kids on the field and court as possible, now is the perfect time to step up.

Thinking about it but feeling a bit unsure? Don't worry!
All of our coaches receive full training, support, and guidance both before and during the season. You will never be on your own! You will always work with at least one other parent coach per team.

Knowing ahead of time how many parents want to get involved is crucial because it directly helps us plan exactly how many children we can register!

✈️ While Bolt is busy island-hopping, eating oysters, and practicing his volleyball serves across Europe, we are busy preparing for an epic fall back in Brussels! 🇧🇪🍁

We are officially midway through the summer, which means it’s time to start gearing up for our BSA Fall Sports programs!

Whether your kids are returning players or brand new to the BSA family, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the field and court.

Here is all the key information you need to get ready:
⚽ FALL SOCCER REGISTRATION
Registration opens: 🗓️ Tuesday, August 18th at 10:00 AM
Season starts: 🗓️ Sunday, September 13th. Get your calendars ready!

Here is our tentative weekly schedule by age group (U6 to U14):
U6: Sundays 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM (No weekday practice)
U8: Sundays 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM ➕ Thursdays 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
U10: Sundays 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM ➕ Thursdays 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
U12: Sundays 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM ➕ Tuesdays 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
U14: Sundays 2:15 PM - 3:45 PM ➕ Tuesdays 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Good news! We are also planning to offer our Basketball, Baseball, and Volleyball programs starting this October!

🏐 From ancient arenas to sandy courts, Bolt is bringing the heat to the beach! 🏖️🇩🇪

After conquering the Colosseum in Italy, Bolt has headed north to the beautiful, breezy shores of Juist Island in Germany!

🐅 Our favorite tiger isn't just lounging around this time—he has hit the sandy beaches to get some serious volleyball practice in. Those spikes and serves are looking fierce, which means Bolt will be in peak condition for the BSA volleyball season! 🏐💪

Bolt’s European tour is turning into an epic summer training montage, and we are loving every minute of it! Whether you are spiking volleyballs on an island, exploring a museum, visiting grandma's house, or enjoying a staycation right here in Brussels, bring a printout or drawing of Bolt the BSA Tiger along for the ride!

🌋 From fresh seafood to ancient empires, Bolt is taking a step back in time! 🏛️🇮🇹

After filling up on oysters in France, Bolt has trekked down south to explore Italy! Our favorite tiger was spotted taking in the incredible ancient ruins of Pompeii and standing in the shadow of the mighty Roman Colosseum. 🐅

Getting all those historic steps in and training like a true gladiator is the perfect way for Bolt to build his endurance before the upcoming BSA soccer, basketball, baseball, and volleyball seasons officially kick off! ⚽️🏀⚾️🏐

🦪 From the pool to the coast, Bolt is getting a taste of the finer things in life! 🌊🇫🇷

After cooling off in the French Riviera, Bolt has made his way to the beautiful shores of Arcachon, France! It looks like Bolt traded his pool floatie for some local delicacies and is currently "tasting" the famous Arcachon oysters by the bay. 🐅🍋

Hey, even mascots need to keep their strength up! With BSA offering soccer, basketball, and baseball, Bolt is going to need all that extra oyster protein to get ready for the upcoming seasons. We always knew he had great taste, but he is truly living the high life on this European tour!

🥵 Phew! After soaking up all that glorious sunshine in the Portuguese vineyards, Bolt definitely needed a way to cool off! 💦🇫🇷

Bolt is now in Cassis, France!After sweating it out in the Douro Valley, Bolt is now living his absolute best life, catching some rays and chilling on a floatie in the pool. He has to rest up those kicking legs and stay refreshed before the upcoming soccer season officially kicks off, after all! ⚽️😎
