• Wie is Arno:
Hij begon met duiken om zijn werk als filmmaker uit te breiden. Wat startte als een professionele uitdaging, groeide uit tot een passie voor technisch duiken, grotduiken en onderwater cinematografie.

Voor Arno draait duiken om ontdekking en avontuur. Het geeft hem toegang tot plaatsen die voor de meeste mensen verborgen blijven en biedt de unieke mogelijkheid om onbekende omgevingen te verkennen. De combinatie van exploratie, technische uitdagingen en het vastleggen van beelden onder water maakt elke duik bijzonder. 💛

Toen vrienden aan Arno vroegen om een duikcursus te volgen, gaf hij aan dat duiken niets voor hem was. Na lang twijfelen heeft hij het toch geprobeerd en intussen heeft hij er geen seconde spijt van gehad.

He started diving to expand his work as a filmmaker. What began as a professional challenge grew into a passion for technical diving, cave diving, and underwater cinematography.

• What makes diving special for Arno:
For Arno, diving is all about discovery and adventure. It gives him access to places that remain hidden to most people and offers the unique opportunity to explore unknown environments. The combination of exploration, technical challenges, and capturing underwater images makes every dive special. 💛

Mines and caves are Arno’s preferred dive environments.

• Arno’s tips for beginner divers:
Look for an instructor who helps you fine-tune your configuration and pays close attention to buoyancy and finning technique. This forms the foundation.

• A fun diving story from Arno:
When friends asked Arno to take a diving course, he said diving wasn’t for him. After a long period of hesitation, he eventually gave it a try—and has not regretted it for a single second since.

Bedankt voor jullie inschrijving voor het RAID Benelux-evenement op zaterdag 13 juni in Ekeren!

We kijken ernaar uit om samen met jullie een gezellige en uitdagende teamdag te beleven binnen de RAID-community.

Je vindt ons op het grasveld links van het ponton, herkenbaar aan de RAID-vlaggen.

🕘 Tijd & Programma

Om 11:00 starten we met de registratie van de deelnemers, zodat we om 11:30 kunnen beginnen met de briefing van de dag. Zorg dus dat je op tijd aanwezig bent.

📅 Dagprogramma

🤿 Voormiddag & namiddag

• 11:00 – 11:30: Registratie deelnemers
• 11:30: Briefing van het verloop van de dag
• 12:00 – 14:00: Duik
• 13:30 – 14:30: Teamdebriefing van de duik en opdracht
• 14:30 – 17:30: Bites & drinks + bekendmaking van de winnaars

What a journey you have completed. During your training, you not only developed strong skills, but also showed what truly matters: the willingness to keep learning.

You were always open to feedback, took suggestions on board, and made time for extra training to keep improving yourselves. That mindset is exactly what DiveRAID stands for.

💦 RAIDer à l’honneur: Loïc Evrard - Instructeur chez RAID Benelux💦

• Qui est Loïc:
Loïc a découvert la plongée à l’âge de 8 ans grâce à son père, avec qui il partage encore aujourd’hui cette passion. À 18 ans, il a décidé d’en faire son métier en passant ses différents brevets professionnels jusqu’à devenir instructeur.

• Expérience et spécialisations :
Il a commencé comme vendeur dans un dive shop en Belgique avant de partir un an en Sardaigne, où il a travaillé et développé une solide expérience dans l’enseignement de la plongée. Il est capable d’accompagner des plongeurs depuis leurs toutes premières expériences jusqu’aux brevets techniques et professionnels.
Aujourd’hui indépendant, il se consacre à 100 % au développement de son centre de plongée Pressurexplorer ainsi qu’aux explorations techniques. Et il l’admet lui-même : il est complètement tombé amoureux de la plongée spéléo.

• Le site de plongée préféré de Loïc:
En belgique: la carrière de floreffe et vodecée et sinon le MT HAVEN

• Le souvenir préféré de Loïc sous la surface :
Un voyage en Égypte avec son père, sa mère et son frère — tous les quatre profitant ensemble du monde sous-marin. 🧡

• Loïc’s conseils pour les plongeurs débutants :
Choisir des instructeurs en qui ils ont confiance. Accepter de prendre leur temps et de faire ce qu’il aime sans se sentir forcé.

💦 RAIDer in the spotlight: Loïc Evrard – Instructor at RAID Benelux 💦

• Who is Loîc:
Loïc discovered diving at the age of 8 thanks to his father, and it is a passion he still shares with him today. At 18, he chose to turn that passion into a career by completing his professional certifications and eventually becoming an instructor.

• Experience and Specializations:
He started as a salesperson in a dive shop in Belgium before spending a year in Sardinia, where he worked and gained solid experience in teaching diving. He is able to guide divers from their very first experience all the way to technical and professional certifications.
Today, he is self-employed and fully dedicated to developing his dive center, PressureXplorer, as well as pursuing technical explorations. And he admits it himself — he has completely fallen in love with cave diving.

• Loïc’s favorite dive sites:
In Belgium: the Floreffe quarry and Vodecée quarry, and abroad the MT Haven.

• Loïc’s favourite Memory Beneath the Surface:
A trip to Egypt with his father, mother, and brother — the four of them enjoying the underwater world together. 🧡

• Loïc’s tips for beginner divers:
Choose instructors you trust. Take your time, progress at your own pace, and do what you truly enjoy without feeling pressured.
