From February 2023, the Atomium will invite the artist collective Visual System to occupy its exhibition spaces and dedicates its program to digital art. RESTART, a temporary exhibition, and CENTRALE, a permanent installation, will depict the Atomium in light and sound.

Bye-bye Swim4Life… or not?
Dear Friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we have to inform you that Swim4Life will not be held this year,
nor in years to come, unless some dedicated people step up in the future.
There have been 24.5 editions of Swim4Life, allowing us to provide enormous assistance to
countless organizations and people, thanks to all your efforts as organizers, donors,
volunteers, swimmers or simply fans of the event.
We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this undertaking over the years.
It has been an unforgettable experience! From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for
your involvement and your help.
If you feel motivated to take up the torch to carry the project forward, to breathe new life
into the concept, and to take on organizing Swim4Life, contact us via email

organizing team.

Bye bye Swim4Life… of toch niet?
Beste vriend·inn·en,
Tot onze grote spijt moeten wij jullie meedelen dat Swim4Life dit jaar niet zal doorgaan en …
misschien was de vorige keer wel de laatste.
Door de 24 en een halve keren dat het evenement kon worden georganiseerd, kregen vele
organisaties en mensen hulp en steun en dit dankzij jullie allemaal: organisatoren,
schenk·st·ers, vrijwillig·st·ers, zwem·st·m·ers of gewoonweg sympathisanten.
Graag willen wij iedereen bedanken die al die jaren betrokken was in dit project. Het was
een ongelooflijke ervaring. Uit de grond van ons hart zeggen wij: “ Bedankt voor de niet
aflantende steun en hulp! “
Wil je graag dit verhaal verder zetten, het concept vernieuwen of zelf Swim4Life
organiseren, stuur dan een mailtje naar [email protected]. Wij zijn bereid een
nieuwe ploeg te begeleiden en te steunen in de organisatie van dit evenement.

Bye bye Swim4Life… ou pas ?
Bonjour les ami·e·s,
C’est avec un grand regret que nous devons vous annoncer que le Swim4Life n’aura pas lieu
cette année, ni peut-être les années à venir… à moins que des bonnes volontés se fassent
connaître pour le futur.
Le projet a su arriver jusqu’à une 24 ème édition et demie venant en aide à énormément
d’organisations et de personnes, et cela c’est grâce à vous tou·te·s : organisateur·trice·s,
donateur·trice·s, volontaires, nageur·euse·s ou simplement sympathisant·e·s.
Nous aimerions remercier toutes les personnes qui ont été impliquées dans le projet au fil
de toutes ces années. Ce fut une expérience incroyable ! Merci du fond du cœur pour votre
participation et votre aide !

When I arrived in Brussels 8 years ago, I didn't know anybody in the city. If making friends in a new place seemed easy in my twenties, it started to become a bit challenging as I got older.

After I unpacked, I needed to do something in order to overcome this challenge. So, I joined the swimming group and the waterpolo team of BGS - Brussels Gay Sports - the association promoting sporting activities for the LGBTQI+ community.

In each KET Talks podcast, Vincent goes further on the episode’s theme.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise 8.710€ for the nine organisations we were supporting this year, despite the COVID crisis.

A huge 💝 THANK YOU 💝 to all of you.
