Today was a historic day in TB-history; Sander and Rene were finally joined on track by founding member Jelle, after all these years
Three SRADs strong, we entered the sort-of impromptu trackday at the TT Circuit Assen, C19-proof organised by Trackdays4all.
Sander set his pb on the SRAD1000 and Reggie at least got a official 2:06 with much room for improvement on the black 600.
(I did a 2:05 on the Slingshot last year, honest
-Rene)
We need on of them fancy coaches Kenneth had last week at Zolder..
Jelly was happy with the newly aquired white 600, after having to do some troubleshooting and headscratching the days before. The bike had actually been part of the TB-stable before, with Sander selling it off in favor of what is the 1000 now. It’s been bought back and it looks like it’s staying this time.
Steadily faster every session (until I mentioned it was raining), much improvement was made with endless potential yet to be discovered. Those SRAD really are a bit good.
2020 has been a tough year on anything and everyone but everybody likes fun and this is what we do for fun. We are happy that circuits are opening up and we get to play on them whenever we can.
Sander and myself will be out in 5 weeks time again at Assen. Other than that, nothing is set in stone yet; hopefully we get the freedom to move about and go see our friends in the UK and Belgium soon.
Today was a good day ✌🏻
